Authenticator app (TOTP)
Shopify lets you use time-based one-time passwords, so you can generate verification codes in an authenticator app on your device — no network or SMS needed.
Security key (U2F)
Shopify works with hardware security keys using the U2F/FIDO standard.
U2F requires using a Shopify ID. U2F can't be used on the Shopify mobile app, the Shopify POS app, or the Shopify Inbox app.
