Adding two-factor authentication is one of the most effective ways to protect your Redis Enterprise Cloud account. With TOTP support, you can generate Redis Enterprise Cloud verification codes directly in the Authenticator App.
Authenticator app (TOTP)
Redis Enterprise Cloud lets you use time-based one-time passwords, so you can generate verification codes in an authenticator app on your device — no network or SMS needed.
SMS
Redis Enterprise Cloud can send a one-time verification code to your phone via text message.
SMS 2FA must be enabled before TOTP 2FA can be enabled. SMS 2FA cannot be disabled even when TOTP is enabled.
