SMS
Cal Poly can send a one-time verification code to your phone via text message.
Phone call
Cal Poly can call your phone and read out a verification code.
Security key (U2F)
Cal Poly works with hardware security keys using the U2F/FIDO standard.
Hardware token
Cal Poly supports a dedicated hardware token for generating codes.
Proprietary app
Cal Poly offers its own companion app for approving sign-ins.

No. Cal Poly does not currently offer TOTP-based codes, but it does support SMS, Phone call, Security key (U2F), Hardware token, Proprietary app.
