DigiD offers the following two-factor authentication options to help protect your account.
SMS
DigiD can send a one-time verification code to your phone via text message.
Phone call
DigiD can call your phone and read out a verification code.
Proprietary app
DigiD offers its own companion app for approving sign-ins.

No. DigiD does not currently offer TOTP-based codes, but it does support SMS, Phone call, Proprietary app.
